Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Cancer, Nodules, Goiter, Hashimoto’s and Graves’

The Thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland located on the front of the neck just below the Adam’s apple. If you have a healthy Thyroid you will not be able to see it.

Thyroid disorders can cause the gland to enlarge. This can be harmless or life threatening which makes routine checkups very important. Most common Thyroid dysfunctions involve abnormal production of Thyroid hormone. Having too much or too little can cause mild to serious side effects such as fatigue, constipation, mood swings, hair loss, and weight gain.

Thyroid Disorders

Acromegaly, High Prolactin, Pituitary Tumors, Hypopituitarism, Cushing’s Syndrome, Growth Hormone

The Pituitary gland is responsible for many regulatory functions of the body. Because it controls so many vital functions a Pituitary disorder can have a very wide range of side effects.

Health conditions such as acromegaly, Cushing’s syndrome, hypothyroidism, and hypogonadism all may result from pituitary gland disease. Mild to serious side effects range from headaches to nausea, vomiting, and sexual dysfunctions.

Pituitary Disorders

Erectile Dysfunction, Decreased Libido, Increased Body Fat, Fatigue, Depression

Testosterone is produced primarily in a man’s Testes. It’s natural for testosterone levels to decline as men age, but low testosterone levels can contribute to a variety of health problems.

Keeping blood levels of testosterone in the optimal healthy range will effectively treat symptoms caused by low testosterone. Common symptoms are erectile dysfunction, loss of muscle mass, fatigue, weight gain, and reduced sex drive.

Low Testosterone

Adrenal Incidentaloma, Primary Aldosteronism, Cushing Syndrome, Adrenal Insufficiency, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia

Adrenal glands sit on top of each kidney, they produce vital hormones that you cannot live without. The three main types of hormones made by the adrenal system are mineralocortoids, glucocortoids, and adrenal androgens.

Common symptoms may be obesity, skin problems, high blood pressure, weight loss, depression and low blood pressure.

Adrenal Disorders

High and Low Calcium, Parathyroid Disorders, Osteoporosis

Bones are mostly made of collagen and calcium that is woven together in what looks like a hardened sponge. Bone disorders occur when the body fails to restore bone structure and the bones slowly become less dense.

Most people have little to no symptoms caused by disorders like Osteoporosis until they fall and break a bone. This makes regular checkups a necessity when discovering and treating osteoporosis and other bone disorders.
